The original version crashed, so I went to try and download the fixed version and the website it's taking me to is being flagged for malware by my antivirus, and I don't really want to take that kind of risk.
If possible could you please put the fixed version on the Itch.io page rather that an external site?
I'll be able to in exactly 1 day, 5 hours and 1 minute when the Game jam judging ends.
It will just be the same zipfile I put on Rapidshare, though. And Rapidshare, although I'm sure a lot of malware has been hosted on there, isn't in the business of replacing users non-malware files with viruses just to be dicks.
This game is seriously charming!! I cannot say anything that hasn't already been said - I think the FMV was well worth the cost of a greenscreen, the multi-window usage is creative, and your writing is just plain funny. The Carmen Sandiego gameplay inspiration was a really good pull for the theme.
I'm not sure what graphics are broken, but both the Linux and Windows builds seem to be plenty playable for me. Cute game! I thought the fmv was a great touch.
It's really is a shame that the graphics are breaking because the actual product seems to carry quite the great amount of detail for a jam project... I hope you can fix it at some point because I'd love to try it out!

This game gave me a good laugh, but broke down on broken building.

as i was playing this, i was giggling to myself thinking how much this was like carmen sandiego.
then i looked at the title of the game. man im dumb
needs a few fixes but beside that it feels good to finally have played a old school type game
